Aditya : I was noticing a pair of eyes continuously gazing on me that was ruhi's .

Whenever she used to come to me i used to run from her so that i should not get caught. She is a kind of detective if she gets to know just a simply thing she goes to root of it no matter what.

That is the reason that i was not able to hide anything from her till date.

Once i, aakash, vikram wanted to experiment something new actually..... that was a cigarette we were just in 1st year back then....., we didnt have that mind maturity to differentiate between good and bad,,, we just wanted to try it, because we felt it was something cool. But ruhi was not like that although she is twin sister of aakash but they really have a contrasting personality.

Just by looking at us she figured something was wrong and when she got to know about the thing we did and joh class usne hamari lagayi hai zindagi mein dubara kabhi cigarette ke baar mein humne soch bhi nahi.

And to shut her mouth so that she don't bark everything in front of our mothers we had to pay a huge fine. We had to sponsore her,her favourite food from canteen for next two months.

Aditya : To avoid ruhi's confrontation i went to order the snacks for everyone but ruhi came there too.

Ruhi : Aditya what are u upto?( Ruhi asked raising her eyebrows.)

Aditya : Go test ur eyes if u cant see what i am upto (aditya said getting annoyed)

Ruhi : Who is aarohi...? ( ruhi asked.)

Aditya : u have short term memory loss or what she is aarohi sharma 1st year mbbs in aiims delhi Air 2 of neet 2022.(aditya said acting a bit smart.)

Ruhi : U stupid i asked who is aarohi for u (ruhi asked giving a slap on my chest.)

Aditya : Didi's nanad (aditya said.)

Ruhi : Then (ruhi asked again.)

Aditya : Then what.... She is my friend. (Aditya said rolling my eyes.)

Ruhi : Then...... ( ruhi asked again.)

Aditya : then what nothing... (Aditya said causally.)

Ruhi : Now u are testing my patience aditya. U know what i am asking about and u know what u have to answer also..., (so say.)

Aditya : What ruhi? she is just a friend and nothing else........ (aditya said)

Ruhi : i squinted my eyes.

Aditya : Ok ok i will tell promise me that u won't tell to anyone (aditya forwarded my hand to her.)

Ruhi : Ok I promise (ruhi said keeping her hand on mine.)

Aditya : Actually i dont know what i feel i dont know how to say it ummm.

Ruhi : Isi janam mein bolega ki aarohi ko hi bulau.

Aditya : Actually........ I was just standing and (aditya was just staring at ruhi.)

Ruhi : Ye kya nautanki lage ke rakhi hai saaf saaf bol kya hai.

Aditya : So listen i like aarohi infact..... i love her.....,I dont know what i feel for her..... i dont know why i feel for her,

Jab bhi woh mere samne hoti hai usko hi dektha hoon, jab bhi woh mere samne nahi hoti mein usko hi dekhna chahta hoon . Aankhein band kartha hoon toh woh hai, aankhein koltha hai toh woh hai. Jab bhi usko rohte hua dekhta hoon toh just i want to hug her console her. I just want to see her happy...... i just want to give all the happiness she deserves. I want to fulfill all her wishes.

Ruhi was continuously staring at me.

Ruhi : Zindagi mein pehli baar kuch acha kaam kiya hai tune Hayy i am so happy for u yaar (ruhi said giving me a hug.)

Ruhi : Waise aarohi is very nice girl and don't u dare to hurt her nahi toh tu mere haath se hi marega beta...... (I am warning u.)

Aditya : Nahi yaar........ i can never hurt her because woh meri jaan hai.

Ruhi : Yaar i am so excited............u love aarohi I can't believe that.... mera boring sa best friend jisko pyaar jaise cheezo mein interest hi nahi tha...... he is finally in love . Waise tu abhi usse kab bata raha hai.

Aditya : I dont know yaar i just want to see her happy. I will confess but not now because she has just become comfortable with me so i can't hurt her now.

Waiter : Mam sir heres ur order.

Ruhi : Take this aadi.

Aditya : Ok so lets go.

Everyone enjoyed having the snacks. After that we went to watch a movie ya that was a horror movie although i am hell scared to see such movies but once di said that aarohi likes horror movies so I am here to face my nightmare only for her.

Aditya : I was sitting in the last seat ,next to aarohi.

Whenever i used to see a scary scene i used to hide myself in aarohi's arms. After coming out of theater.

Vikram went as he was getting late.

We all sat in a cab.

Aarohi : Aditya u are scared of horror movies seriously.

Ruhi : ek baar kya hua tha, we all went to watch a horror movie and aditya didn't tell that...... he is scared isko hero baneka bada shock tha, he saw the movie went home and after he slept, at the middle of the night he woke up calling mummy mummy.

When aunty came to his room he was hell scared......his forehead was covered with sweat. He hugged aunty and asked her not to go anywhere........the whole night he didn't sleep and didn't left aunty to sleep also. This literally continued for a week.

Aarohi : Really di, toh phir aapne kyun horror movie choose ki. (Aarohi asked with a question)

Aditya : Because u like it so (aditya answered.)

Aarohi : Aditya......... itna hatta katta dikhne wala aadmi horror movie se dar jayega i toh never thought it. (Aditya started laughing.)

Aditya : Isme konsi badi baat hai sab ki kamzoori hoti hai mera........horror films hai aur tumhara......ha chipkali hai.

Aarohi : No i am not afraid of it.

Aditya : Oh really aarohi. Then catch.

It was a plastic chipkali it directly landed on aarohi 's shoulder.

Aarohi : Aditya please nikalo isse i promise i won't laugh at u please aditya (aarohi said closing her eyes closely.)

He removed it from my shoulder and said, remember I am ur senior, elder to u so thoda sa izzat zaroori hai

Aarohi : I will respect u from now on. Ok.... Senior.... Citizen (aarohi said rolling her eyes.)

Ruhi : hogaya na tumhara izzat ka faluda isliye bolate hai zyada nahi bolna chahiye.......

In no time we reached my place.

Aarohi : Suddenly i saw a familiar person who was sitting on sofa.

Aarohi : Ninoo (aarohi said.)

Naina : Aaru...... (Naina called.)

(Ninoo is the nick name given by aarohi to naina her best friend).

She gave me a very tight hug.

Kaisi hai yaar. Hum ache hai tu bata. Main bhi badiya hoon.

Par hume tumse baat nahi Karna hai. Par woh kyun bala. She asked.... Keeping her hand on her waist

tu bhaiya bhabhi ki shaadi mein nahi aayi i missed u yaar we decided right hum kitni masti kar sakte the.

Ya i had to the conference so. Thats y i called bhaiya today that i will be coming so he took half day and came home.

Haww bhaiya u never take leave for me but u took for ninoo how mean.

Ya she is my favourite he said hugging her

I love u bhaiya she replied in response

Bhaiya.... Hame aap se baat hi nahi karni hai.

Acha baba sorry aaja he hugged me too.

aarohi didnt introduce me afterall i am her best friend this is not fair i thought to myself

Ruhi: adi kuch jal raha hai kya.

Jale kyun namak chidak rahi ho ruhi i said in annoyance.

Haww someone is getting jealous and all ha ruhi said adding fuel to the fire.

Aarohi how mean of u u introduced everyone to naina but u didnt introduced me i said getting angry on her

Aditya.. She said.

I dont want to listen anything i said

It is because bhaiya aapko mein jaanti hoon whenever aaru calls me she definitely speaks about u atleast once naina said.

Really aarohi i asked with hope in my eyes.

Thats what i wanted to tell u par nahi aapko har chizz ki itni jaldi kyun hoti hai.

Aarohi : waise bhabhi inko har cheez ki itni jaldi kyun hai kya ye 9 months pehle hi aa geye the kya.

Aarohi stop it now.

Ha ok baba i wont tease u Now ok i am sorry.

Ok he said scrunching his nose.

We enjoyed a lot it was evening time everyone left except aditya.

I, bhabhi and bhaiya we were talking adi was sitting just looking at us.

Suddenly paapa 's name flashed on bhaiya's phone.

Hello paapa boliye. He said

Suddenly got up said that he has urgent work and went to his room.

Author pov

Sushant: hello paapa boliye.

Mr sharma : is aarohi near u.

Sushant : yes paapa.

Mr sharma : just go somewhere far from her dont ask many questions its very important.

Sushant: i will just be back in a minute.

Sushant went to his room.

Mr sharma : listen to me carefully that bastard rakesh has been released from jail i just got a call from our lawyer.

Sushant : but paapa how is this possible he was given a punishment of 10 years right.How come he came out in 6 years.

Mr sharma: i got to know that due to his good behaviour his punishment was reduced. My lawyer even said that he is a changed man now.

Sushant : how can u believe him paapa that rascal can never ever change. Once a rascal will always be a rascal.

Mr sharma : this information should not reach aarohi 's ear at any cost.

Keep her busy with something for few days we will settle the matter as soon as possible.

Sushant : this time whatever happens i will protect my sister. I can't let that bastard win this time. I will make sure that he gets his karma back. Paapa i will call u later if i dont go now aarohi will get to know something is wrong.

Sushant turned back only to see aarohi with moist eyes.

Aarohi went from there crying.

Sushant : aarohi listen to me please.

Aarohi went to her room and locked the door not responding anything.

Sushant : aarohi please open the door nothing will happen to u this time please open the door choti please.

Hearing this sounds soon aditya and tara came to the scene.

Tara : ji kya hua hai aarohi ko.

Sushant : tara.. Rakesh is back.

Tara : what.

Tara: Aaru listen to me we all are with u please open the door please.

U are not alone this time please choti open the door.

Aditya: jiju we have to break the door now.

Yes sushant said.

After 4-5 attempts finally the door got opened.

Aarohi was there with a knife in her hand cutting her hand abruptly.

Sushant : aarohi are u out of ur mind leave that knife. Please leave that nahi toh mein tumse kabhi baat nahi karunga.

please let me go i dont want to live anymore. He us back he wont spare me now. Leave me i will die before he does what he has done years ago. She said with trembling voice.

Don't come near me or else i will harm myself.

Aditya tried snatching knife from aarohi not thinking about himself.

Suddenly all heard knife which fell down. Aditya's hand was full of blood.

Di jiju bring water and first aid fast.

Aditya pov

I made her sit on bed as soon as jiju gave me first aid i started cleaning the wound first then did the necessary dressing.

Are u out of ur mind aarohi i said holding her arms. Not being so harsh on her.

U want to die right common take it take the knife. But just think what will happen to ur family ur friends after u go. And think what Will happen to me if u leave.

Aarohi kept her head on my chest started crying loudly. I started to rub her back to make her calm down. But she was crying hell out of her and i couldn't see her like that.

Aaru baccha stop crying ntg has happened we all are with u baacha please stop crying.

Tell me what has happened i said cherishing her.

She started crying even more.

Suddenly aarohi realised that she was crying in front of a person whom she has met just two months before and can't let him know her secret or else he will also leave her . She backed off.

Aditya its very late i guess u have to go now. She said wiping her tears.

But aarohi i cant leave u like this.

Aditya i beg of u please leave me alone she said crying.

Aditya how can u think that i would let u invade my privacy ,u are just a friend of mine and nothing else". Arohi said

"Dont except anything extra from me" she exclaimed hiding her emotions.

"Aru what has happened to u, u have forgotten all our good memories ,but y,we are best friends know aru, we have stood by each other know matter what, but y are u doing this aru" I said with moist eyes.

Firstly i am Aarohi for u and not aru and secondly who are u to interfere in my life,who said u to dig my past,who said u to heal me i am fu**ing broken and nobody will ever be able to heal me so stop trying aditya said Aarohi trying to hide her teary eyes.

"Aru u are saying who i am, ask ur eyes which always wants to see me, ask ur ears which wants to hear just one word aru, ask urself how u feel if u dont see me for a day "aditya said with holding her wrist tightly not so tightly that she gets hurt.

"I am sorry but i can't please dont try to dig my past u will end up getting hurt" Aarohi said these words and left with tears.

But grabbed her wrist and made her sit on bed hug her from behind just trying to console her.

U are the most beautiful and purest soul i have ever met in my life. U are a angel who has come in my life to change me.
